Off to Afghanistan

By From page A4 | May 14, 2013

Estela Gatto, a Davis post office employee and a military mom, receives boxes packed with supplies from Yolo Military Families that are bound for deployed service members in Afghanistan. The packages are due to arrive Saturday, which is Armed Forces Day, and include toiletries, food items, games and books along with cards of support. Armed Forces Day was designated by President Harry Truman in 1950 to acknowledge active-duty service members.
