New readers are invited to join the ongoing Active Older Adult Discussion Group on Thursday, Feb. 13, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The group meets in the Blanchard Room at the Stephens Branch Library, 315 E. 14th St. in Davis.

The discussion group meets on the second Thursday to explore aspects of the conscious aging movement, seeking to mine the wisdom of long lives and find effective ways to share and pass on legacies. Rabbi Zalman Schacter-Shalomi and Ronald Miller’s book, “From Age-ing to Sage-ing,” serves as a guide for discussion and activities.

No reservations are required and the program is free. For more information, contact Joan Tuss at 530-757-5588 or joan.tuss@yolocounty.org.
