Online votes sought for paint giveaway

Local residents can vote online until July 31 for the three finalists in Brooks Painting’s sixth annual Charity Paint Giveaway. The winner will receive up to $10,000 in time and painting services.

Past recipients are Davis Little League, the Sharp family, the Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Center of Yolo County, Davis Summer House and Hillel House.

This year’s finalists are the Yolo County Animal Shelter, which wants to spruce up its Woodland quarters; Davis Community Meals, which could use help with its housing program; and Explorit Science Center, which needs a makeover of its headquarters on Fifth Street.
