Panelists, residents discuss the ‘End of Books’

By From page A3 | July 18, 2013

All are welcome to join a panel discussion Saturday that will explore the topic of a soon-to-be produced documentary film, “End of Books.” The discussion will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the Blanchard Room at the Stephens Branch Library, 315 E. 14th St. in Davis.

The documentary by Asata Radcliffe of Little Thunder Films will allow residents to voice their concerns about the impact of digital accessibility and print preservation. Panelists will include representatives from the library and bookstores, publishers and members of the Native American community.

Refreshments will be served.
