Paper Slip Meditation workshop offered

By From page A5 | July 20, 2014

A new workshop opportunity called Paper Slip Meditation, developed and led by David Roberts, is an unusual and easy-to-use form of meditation that has the practical aim of bringing about positive “real-world” developments in people’s lives.

A class to introduce the meditative concept will run from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, at the Davis Senior Center, 646 A St. Participants should be at least 18 years old.

“Paper Slip Meditation stimulates a flow of images that supply the inspiration, emotion and energy — keys to making those desired improvements to our lives possible,” a news release said. “In this practice, you’ll find inner peace and relief from stressful situations, opening you to experiences beyond the everyday.”

Registration costs $12. To sign up, call the Senior Center at 530-757-5696.
