Spring means it’s time to party in the park

By From page A1 | March 20, 2014

The one good thing about Daylight Saving Time is more daylight as Picnic in the Park returns to Central Park on Wednesdays. Locals took advantage of the longer day to enjoy the season opener that featured the sounds of Blue Blazes, numerous food vendors, entertainment for children and acres of grass for just relaxing after a long day. The market at Fourth and C streets is open from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. with music from 5 p.m. until dark. Picnic in the Park continues through October.
