Pence Gallery docent training sessions planned

The Pence Gallery is offering a training class to prepare adults who are interested in touring children through its art exhibits. Docents will lead 30-minute-long tours during some weekday mornings, engaging children through questions, games and commentary. Training sessions are designed to offer different techniques on touring various age groups.

The four sessions are free, and take place from 10 a.m. to noon Mondays, Oct. 3, 10, 24, 31. If you are interested, or want to learn more about the docent program, call Natalie Nelson, director, at (530) 758-3370, or email [email protected]
