Peregrine students read poetry at gallery

A special poetry reading is planned for 7 p.m. Thursday, May 1, at the John Natsoulas Gallery, 521 First St. in downtown Davis. William O’Daly will host the event that kicks off with readings by students of the Peregrine School.

At 8 p.m., O’Daly will take the mic. The poet, essayist, novelist, professor, editor, translator and instructional designer also was selected as a finalist for the 2006 Quill Award in Poetry. 

Open mic follows at approximately 9 p.m. Individuals are encouraged to arrive early to secure a seat, and to sign up for a spot on the open mic list.
