Pets of the week

By April 12, 2011

Lots of dogs and cats are
waiting to be adopted at the Yolo County Animal Shelter, 2640 E.
Gibson Road in Woodland. Among them is Koi (No. 92399), an 18-month-old neutered male domestic brown-and-white tabby cat.
Also hoping for a good home is Tulip (No. 93859), a 3-month-old female black-and-white Labrador mix. Fees are charged for licensing and spaying or neutering, if necessary. The shelter is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays (closed for lunch from 1 to 2 p.m. each day). For more information on how to adopt a pet, call (530) 668-5287 or visit http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/CA283html (click on “our pet list is updated on an almost
daily basis”). Sue Cockrell/Enterprise photos
