Pets of the week

By From page A3 | August 07, 2012

Lots of dogs and cats are waiting to be adopted at the Yolo County Animal Shelter, 2640 E. Gibson Road in Woodland. Among them are Zack and Shadow (No. 106588 and 106590), both 2-month-old neutered male, domestic short-haired kittens. Also hoping for a good home is Gabby (No. 107978), a 1-year-old spayed female pit bull-mix dog with a white-and-black coat. Fees are charged for licensing and spaying or neutering, if necessary. The shelter is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays (closed for lunch from 1 to 2 p.m. each day).
