Pets of the week
Lots of dogs and cats are waiting to be adopted at the Yolo County Animal Shelter, 2640 E. Gibson Road in Woodland. Among them are Kai (No. 112820), a 5-month-old neutered male, tan pit bull. Also hoping for a good home is Sport (No. 112364), an 8-month-old neutered male, domestic short-haired brown tabby. Fees are charged for licensing and spaying or neutering, if necessary. The shelter is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays (closed for lunch from 1 to 2 p.m. each day).
