Three local photographers are winners of the Yolo Federal Credit Union’s summerlong photo contest, which asked community members to submit photos of what they thought makes Yolo County special.

“We received an abundance of photos showcasing the beauty of Yolo County,” said Christina Blackman, marketing manager. “Everything from local farming and picturesque landscapes to the Yolo County Fair and hot-air balloons.”

David Robertson of Davis won first place and $500 with his photo of an agricultural field outside of Davis. Eve Bessier of Davis won second place and $300 with her photo of an almond orchard. Brian Wickstrom of Woodland won third place and $100 with his photo of Mark Mezger’s free flower farm north of Yolo.

Yolo Federal Credit Union has been serving the local communities for nearly 60 years. Membership is available to anyone who lives, works or attends school in Yolo County. For more information, visit www.yolofcu.org or call 530-668-2700.
