Picnic Day leaders visit ‘Davisville’

By From page A4 | March 28, 2012

Picnic Day — for decades, the biggest show in town — returns on Saturday, April 21. On the current edition of “Davisville,” a radio interview program, Picnic Day chair Jennifer Mappus and publicity chair Achsa Rothe discuss the attractions and plans for this year, both to build up the good side of the event and to curtail the problems of the past two years.

“Davisville,” hosted by Bill Buchanan, airs on KDRT, 95.7 FM, at 5:30 p.m. Mondays, 8:30 a.m. Wednesdays, 7:30 a.m. and midnight Saturdays and midnight Sundays. The Picnic Day 2012 interview debuted Monday and will air through April 8. It is also available in the KDRT archives at http://www.kdrt.org/node/8947.
