Mini-Musicals director Mindy Manville will present the fourth annual PopStar course for students in grades 2-6 at the Davis Art Center, 1919 F St., beginning at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 29.

Each participant will be involved in presenting their own solo rendition of a pop song in a performance at the Art Center theater on June 1.

The class meets weekly for two hours and students also will be part of ensemble pieces. Mini-Musicals help teach youngsters the basics of staging and help teach self-confidence in performing.

The cost is $130 for Art Center members and $140 for nonmembers.
