By From page A14 | March 14, 2014

Congregation Bet Haverim will host its Community Potluck Seder on Tuesday, April 15, in the Social Hall at CBH, 1715 Anderson Road in Davis. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the Seder begins at 6 p.m.

Bring your favorite Passover main dish, side dish or dessert to the Seder (enough to serve eight to 10 people). No meat dishes are permitted at CBH, and no bread, flour or yeast products are allowed during Passover.

Suggested items include matza or potato kugel, fruit, vegetables (except corn and beans), and tuna fish or salmon. Salads should be without croutons or salad dressing. Kosher-for-Passover salad dressing will be provided. CBH also will provide wine, matza and grape juice as well as ritual food items.

The cost of the Seder is $10 for CBH congregants and $12 for community members ages 10 and older, $5 for children ages 3-9 and free for children under 3 years of age. The cost for UC Davis students is $5.

This event sold out last year, so early reservations are advised. Reservation forms are available in the CBH office and online at http://bethaverim.wordpress.com/welcome/pesach-2014. Forms are due on April 1.
