Progressive Business Exchange reaches milestone

The Davis Progressive Business Exchange will celebrate its 200th lunch meeting with awards and speakers, at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, July 16. The group meets at International House, 10 College Park.

State Sen. Lois Wolk, D-Davis, and Assemblywoman Mariko Yamada, D-Davis present proclamations to the local group for reaching the 200-meeting milestone since its founding nine years ago. Elisabeth Sherwin, executive director of I-House, will receive the third annual Member of the Year award.

Scheduled speakers are Jim Matthews of Lamppost Pizza and Andrew Newman of Newman & Associates CPA. The public is invited to attend.

The Davis Progressive Business Exchange meets from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the first and third Wednesdays of the month at I-House. Lunch is catered by Lamppost Pizza.
