‘Psychological wellness’ workshop offered

By From page A4 | February 13, 2014

“Some Keys to Psychological Wellness” is the topic of a free workshop scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, in the Game Room at the Veterans’ Memorial Center, 203 E. 14th St. in Davis.

The purpose of the workshop is to help participants learn to:

* Use all of their emotions — especially the so-called “negative” ones — anger, jealousy, fear, anxiety, sadness and guilt to live more the way they want to live; and

* Use the stress response to be able to love the way they want to love, express themselves the way they want to express themselves and enjoy life the way they want to enjoy life.

The presenter is Al Galves, a psychologist who lives in Las Cruces, N.M. For more information, contact him at 575-571-3105 or [email protected].
