Fade in: Your movie is on the big screen. Make it happen in an eight-week screenwriting workshop offered at the Davis Art Center. Students will learn how to tell gripping stories, build dynamic characters, format a screenplay and market a movie.

The class is designed for teens age 14 and older and adults, and meets from 5 to 7:15 p.m. Sundays, Sept. 25 through Nov. 13. Dottie Bonneau is the instructor.

The fee is $80 for Art Center members and $90 for nonmembers and includes a $15 materials fee.

To register, stop by the Art Center at 1919 F St., call (530) 756-4100 or visit www.davisartcenter.org.
