Ready, aim, fire!

By From page A4 | March 13, 2014

Samuel Rothmann, a UC Davis student and religious school teacher, keeps his eye on the ball as a young superhero attempts to send Rothmann plunging into the dunk tank at last year’s Purim Carnival at Congregation Bet Haverim. This year’s event, on Sunday, will feature the dunk tank again, as well as two dozen other games, activities and food booths. The fun runs from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 1715 Anderson Road in Davis.¬†Admission is free; game tickets will be sold three for $1. Most games and activities require two or three tickets. The Science Wizard show begins at noon in the sanctuary and seating is offered at $2 per person.
