Rocknasium co-owners Mark Leffler, at top, and Carter Schmeck, holding the giant scissors, celebrate a ribbon-cutting Tuesday for their rock-climbing gym’s new space at 720 Olive Drive, Suite S — just 100 feet away from its old space in the same building’s Suite Z. The gym moved into its new digs Nov. 1. The new gym was built in honor of Rocknasium’s 20th anniversary. Helping with the ribbon-cutting are, at left, Davis Mayor Joe Krovoza and, at right, Rose Cholewinski, chairwoman of the Davis Chamber of Commerce board.
