The Davis Rebekah Lodge invites the public to its second annual Rebekah Lodge Crab Feed at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at the Odd Fellows Lodge Hall, 415 Second St. The crab feed is a charitable fundraiser, open to the general public.

“If you like crab, this is the place. Our first crab feed earlier this year was such a success, we thought we’d better do it again,” said Noble Grand Lea Rosenberg. “Many people told us it was the best crab ever.”

Only 160 tickets will be sold; they go on sale Friday, Jan. 4, at The Avid Reader, 617 Second St.

“Last year, tickets went quickly,” Rosenberg said. “We had a sellout well in advance of the crab feed. So I certainly urge folks to buy their tickets soon.”

Tickets are $40 per person and participants will get lots of fresh cracked crab, pasta, salad, bread and drawn butter. The event also features a silent auction and a full no-host bar. Tables of eight may be reserved for $320, subject to availability.

All proceeds will be used to support at-risk and foster youths in the Davis community.

The 35-member Davis Rebekah Lodge and the Davis Odd Fellows own the Odd Fellows Hall downtown. The Rebekahs were chartered in Davis in 1901.
