The Davis Rebekah Lodge invites the public to its third annual Rebekah Lodge Crab Feed at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Odd Fellows Hall, 415 Second St. in downtown Davis. The crab feed is a charitable fundraiser, open to the public.
“If you like crab, this is the place,” said Noble Grand Lea Rosenberg. “Our first and second annual crab feeds were so popular and such a success, we thought we’d better do it again. Many people told us it was the best crab ever.”
Only 160 tickets will be printed for the crab feed, and tickets are on sale now at Avid Reader Active, 605 Second St.
“Last year, tickets went quickly,” Rosenberg said. “We had a sellout well in advance of the crab feed. So I certainly urge folks to buy their tickets soon.”
Tickets are $40 per person and participants will get lots of fresh cracked crab, pasta, salad, bread and drawn butter, as well as dessert. The event also features a silent auction and a full no-host bar.
A few tables of eight also may be reserved for $320, subject to availability. Table reservations should be made directly with Rosenberg, at [email protected].
All proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to benefit children from low- and very low-income families in Davis.
The Davis Rebekah Lodge is a group of 35 women and men who, in partnership with the Davis Odd Fellows, own the Davis Odd Fellows Lodge Hall. The Davis Rebekah Lodge was established in 1901.
