Red Cross seeks local instructors

By
From page A3 | March 09, 2012 |

The American Red Cross is looking for volunteers to teach lifesaving first-aid and CPR classes throughout the region.

The instructor training process requires learning the class material, as well as different presentation formats, followed by practicing in the classroom setting alongside an experienced instructor.

Instructors are needed to teach the lay responder class, a two-day class that runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There is a small cost associated with purchasing instructor materials.

For more information, contact Mary Larkins, instructor relations coordinator, at (916) 993-7062 or mary.larkins@redcross.org.
