Register to vote by May 19

Local residents can register to vote in the June 3 California primary by filling out an application online at www.sos.ca.gov/elections, or by picking up a paper application at:
* The Yolo County Elections Office, 625 Court St., Woodland;
* Stephens Branch Library, 315 E. 14th St., Davis;
* Department of Motor Vehicles, 505 Pole Line Road; or
* Davis Post Office, 2020 Fifth St. or 424 Third St.

Applications must be postmarked or hand-delivered to the Yolo County Elections Office by Monday, May 19.

To register to vote in California, you must be a U.S. citizen, a resident of California and 18 years of age or older on Election Day.

Current voters must re-register when they move to a new permanent residence, chair their name or change their political party choice.
