By From page A3 | July 09, 2013

Margaritas and beer, hot temperatures and country music will blend to create another memorable night of dancing and fun at the seventh annual Rhythm & Ribs on Saturday, July 20. Nearly 300 people are expected to enjoy the music of the Dave Russell Band, in support of St. John’s Retirement Village in Woodland.

Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the door. A “stretch” raffle will feature 15 prizes donated by sponsors, including an iPad and a homemade pie every month. The live auction will feature a Sonoma weekend getaway, Southwest Airline tickets and Disneyland park hopper tickets.

Dancing begins at 6 p.m. and goes until 10 p.m. with margaritas, wine and beer available for $5 each. The endless beer mug for $20 will again be featured this year.

Net proceeds will be used to improve streets, sidewalks and curbs throughout the campus of St. John’s Retirement Village, a multi-care-level senior assisted living community in Woodland.

For tickets and more information, call 530-662-1290 or visit www.sjrv.org.
