‘Ride of Silence’ will remember victims of bike crashes

By From page A4 | May 04, 2012

The “Ride of Silence” will occur in numerous locations worldwide on Wednesday, May 16. It is a slow, silent group bicycle ride to honor and remember those who have lost their lives while bicycling.

Local participants will gather at 7 p.m. at the Mace Boulevard park-and-ride lot just north of Interstate 80 to begin this one-hour event. Everyone is invited, and helmets are required.
