Riparian restoration workshop on Wednesday

A workshop on the latest restoration techniques for riparian ecosystems will be presented from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, at the Cache Creek Nature Preserve, 34199 County Road 20 west of Woodland. It is geared toward educating landowners, students, restoration professionals and other interested parties.

Continuing education credit from the state Department of Pesticide Regulation is available.

Five presenters will discuss a variety of topics pertaining to weed control and management techniques in riparian settings.

There is no charge to attend this workshop and pre-registration is encouraged.
