Rotary Club of Davis launches membership drive

By
From page A4 | January 18, 2013 |

Climbing ladders, ringing bells and digging in the dirt may sound like a very strange job description, but it’s just part of what Rotarians do.

The Rotary Club of Davis, which is looking for more people to join in the fun, has launched a spring membership drive. Club membership is open to anyone who can attend regular meetings and donate a modest amount of time and money to make good things happen in Davis and beyond.

The 80 or so members of the Davis “noon club” — so known because it meets every Monday for lunch — are part of the 1.2 million members of 37,000 Rotary Clubs worldwide. For more information on membership contact Andrew Dowling, Membership chair, at [email protected] Additional information on The Rotary Club of Davis can be found at www.rotaryclubofdavis.com.
