Rotary launches membership drive

By From page A6 | February 03, 2013

Climbing ladders, ringing bells and digging in the dirt may sound like a strange job description, but it’s just part of what Rotarians do.

The Rotary Club of Davis, which is looking for more people to join in the fun, has launched a spring membership drive. Club membership is open to anyone who can attend regular meetings and donate a modest amount of time and money to make good things happen in Davis and beyond.

The 80 or so members of the Davis “noon club” — so known because it meets every Monday for lunch — are part of the 1.2 million members of 37,000 Rotary Clubs worldwide. For more information on membership, contact Andrew Dowling at [email protected] or visit www.rotaryclubofdavis.com.
