Yolo County Supervisor Don Saylor invites community members to attend the kickoff for his bid for re-election next year to the Board of Supervisors on Sunday at the T.S. Glide Ranch between Davis and Winters. Saylor, a Davis resident who represents District 2, is seeking his second term on the board.

“It has become clear to me that this is work worth doing; that I love doing it; and that it will take me longer than four years,” he said in a news release.

The event begins at 4 p.m. and features farm-fresh local food, award-winning wine from Wilson Vineyards and hand-crafted beer from Berryessa Brewing Company. Entertainment will include music by the Plainfield Pickers and lawn games for the young and young at heart.

The suggested donation is $35 general and $15 for students. Kids are free. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.donsaylor.org.
