AIM testing dates set for grades 3, 4, 6, 7 and 9

Parents who are interested in testing their students for the AIM program (Alternative Instructional Model, formerly known as GATE) can sign up for the following dates:

* Third-graders: Testing will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, in the Davis school district offices at 526 B St. Only third-graders who were absent during universal testing (held earlier) or are new to the school district, or who live in the school district residence area but do not attend public schools, can register.

* Fourth- and sixth-graders: Testing will be on three dates — Nov. 20, Dec. 4 and Jan. 22 — at 2 p.m. in the Davis school district offices at 526 B St.

* Seventh- and ninth-graders: Testing will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, in the Davis school district offices at 526 B St.
