Davis High School students channeled their inner Buzz and Woody as they prepared for Friday’s Homecoming fun.
The theme for this year’s parade — which started at 1 p.m. at Central Park — was “Pixar Perfect,” which gave float builders an opportunity to bring their favorite Pixar movies to life. Seniors built an “Up”-themed float, while juniors focused on “Monsters, Inc.” and sophomores on “Finding Nemo.”
The festivities culminated in the varsity and junior varsity football games Friday evening vs. Colfax. While the Blue Devils suffered losses in both of those contests, it didn’t seem to dampen the Homecoming spirit, as alums, parents, teachers, students and community members packed Ron & Mary Brown Stadium.
