Oh please. "Less is More", "Good is Bad", and now "the rate is going down". Only in some odd parallel universe will the DJUSD let Measure A expire. In fact $320/year is a MINIMUM, not a maximum as the paragraph in the ballot measure falsely states. Just more lies from the school gang; I've learned to expect nothing less.

Not so. CPI adjustment is better than overestimating future inflation, as has been done in the past. If Measure C passes, there will be no change on the rate in the first year. In the second year, I actually see the rate going down, because I see the school board letting Measure A expire.

Having put off the chore until today, I finally voted NO on Measure C. And there I discovered another deception by the Measure C advocates. On the ballot itself, the description states "...not to exceed the Base Annual Tax of...$320.00 per parcel..." But in fact the tax is certain to exceed $320.00 per year because of the Consumer Price Index escalator clause.

I cannot recall such a pattern of lies and deception by advocates of a ballot measure. Our children, if they are paying attention, can learn from this: lie and cheat, and you'll get ahead.
