Fun run benefits Pioneer High

The Great Patriot Race, a charity fun run benefiting Pioneer High School’s athletic and music programs, is planned for Saturday, March 17, at the school, 1400 Pioneer Ave. in Woodland. Rainy weather last year didn’t deter the determined the runners. This year’s race will be professionally timed by Synergy Race Timing and is sponsored by Fleet Feet Sports, Teal Networks and Remy Moose Manley LLP. The 10K race for walkers and runners begins at 10 a.m., followed by the 5K race at 9:05 a.m. Registration costs $37 for the 10K race and $32 for the 5K, with student registration $22 for each race.
