The Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 447 is the same group which helped to pay for the hit piece on Sue Greenwald in the City Council race earlier this year. I also remember that the Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 447 gave their money to Lucas Frerichs, which Lucas returned after their attack mailer came out. I guess it is just a coincidence that Lucas is listed as a major Fernandes (and Lovenburg) donor, too. … I would think that with the horrible record of the Davis Firefighters Local 3494 corrupting Davis City Council campaigns, Mr. Fernandes would have the good sense to return both of these donations.
