The Davis High School Blue & White Foundation will host the fourth annual Davis High School Hall of Fame induction ceremony and dinner on Saturday, Oct. 8, at UC Davis’ Freeborn Hall.
This year’s class of inductees is benefactor Bruce Gallaudet, former teacher Jim O’Keefe and alumni Elinor Armer (1957), Cathy Speck (1977) and Jason Fisk (1990). In attendance, and also to be honored that evening, will be Dr. Carol Greider, a Nobel Laureate who was selected for the Hall of Fame in 2010. She is a 1979 graduate of Davis High School.
Presented by the DHS Blue & White Foundation to “Honor the Past, Inspire the Future,” the event is sponsored this year by Brown Construction. Davis Enterprise columnist Bob Dunning once will again serve as the master of ceremonies.
Tickets for the evening are $55 and include dinner. A table for 10 with reserved seating may be sponsored for $850.
