Ice cream social, volunteer party set

An ice cream social and party to thank the Davis Senior Center’s many volunteers is planned at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, at the 
center, 646 A St.

Attendees will be able to build their own sundae (sugar-free ice cream will be available) with a variety of toppings while enjoying entertainment from the center’s Hula Group. To reserve a spot, call (530) 757-5696 no later than Friday, Aug. 17.

Although this event celebrates the contributions of the center’s volunteers, it is open to 
everyone. Feel free to bring family members, friends and grandchildren, organizers said. Davis Health Care Center is donating the ice cream and toppings.
