The popular Walking Poles for Mobility and Exercise workshop with Jeannette Hogan returns to the Davis Senior Center in September. Participants will learn to walk with confidence and ease while creating a full-bodied exercise.

The workshop includes instruction in the most effective way to hold, adjust and use walking poles as well as movements that enhance, protect and invigorate the walking experience.

The workshop, held in three sessions, meets from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Thursdays, Sept. 12, 19 and 26 at the Davis Senior Center, 646 A St. The cost is $42 for residents and $46 for nonresidents. For more information about the workshop, contact Hogan at 530-848-8432 or [email protected].
