Shows air on Domes, Lyme disease

DCTV’s “In the Studio” will feature shows next week on the Domes community at UC Davis and on Lyme disease.

Episode 94  features host Bill Buchanon and Dorothy Leland, vice president of the California Lyme Disease Association, discussing how to protect against disease-carrying ticks, with an emphasis on Lyme disease. The show also includes an informative video showing the size and appearance of ticks and how best to remove them. The episode will air 7 p.m. Sunday, April 17, and Tuesday, April 19.

Episode 95 features host Daniel Choi and Danielle Fodor, Clay Brandow and Janaki Jagannath, discussing how the Domes has been a hub for social and environmental innovation for 40 years. The guests will explain the current “Save the Domes” campaign being developed by a coalition of community leaders, faculty, students and building professionals. The episode airs at 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, and at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 24, and Tuesday, April 26.
