‘Signals from Heaven’ author will speak

By From page A4 | March 21, 2013

Davis resident Diane Wagstaff will informally present her new book, “Signals from Heaven,” at 4 p.m. Sunday at The Avid Reader bookstore, 617 Second St. in downtown Davis.

“Signals from Heaven” is an illustrated diary of unusual, positive events that Wagstaff has experienced when someone in her life passed away. After recent life-threatening challenges to her health, she found she had a keener awareness of the preciousness of life, and a growing interest in what happens after death.

Wagstaff had always believed that one’s soul survives in some form, but she wondered, like most people, how do we know? The events she describes made her feel happy and hopeful for the soul and well-bring of lost loved ones.

While affirming these “Signals from Heaven,” Wagstaff leaves their ultimate interpretation to her readers.

Copies of “Signals from Heaven” will be for sale at the store, $11.95 in softcover.
