Signs of the season

Families flocked to Central Park on Saturday morning to celebrate the harvest season and Halloween at one of Davis’ most popular events — the Davis Farmers Market Fall Festival. The morning’s fun included a pumpkin patch, a petting zoo, pony rides, a costume parade and food galore, all taking place alongside the market. Here, Adrian Saez, 3, dressed as the video game character Mario, has it figured out: candy in one hand, a paint brush in the other and a pumpkin just waiting for his creative talents. Kaylee Colvin, 2, dressed as Tigger, blends right in with the pumpkins surrounding her at Saturday’s Davis Farmers Market Fall Festival.
