Riley Dodge and Olivia Huber had their pictures taken with Santa last year at The Gibson House Museum. This year Santa arrives at the museum grounds 512 Gibson Road, at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, and will take photos until 2 p.m. The holiday fair runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Courtesy photo

The Gibson House Museum welcomes young and old from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, to join the holiday family fun at the Gibson Museum grounds, 512 Gibson Road, Woodland.

Santa will arrive on a vintage fire truck at 11 a.m. to visit and take photos until 2 p.m. Visitors may have lunch, decorate cookies, play games, jump in the bounce house and listen to local holiday musical performances by the Holy Rosary School Children’s Choir and the Childers Family Band.

Kids can create a keepsake ornament while mom and dad shop for holiday gifts and plants. There are also museum outdoor exhibits, a miniature train display and a vintage toy exhibit.

Admission is $5 per family, which includes a visit with Santa and one holiday ornament per child ages 1-12. Food and sale items are not included. Proceeds will benefit the Yolo County Historical Museum children’s educational program.

For more information, call 530-666-1045.
