Have you ever fried an egg on the sidewalk? Come to Picnic in the Park on Wednesday to learn how to use the sun to cook eggs, bake bread and create other culinary marvels in a sun-powered oven. Solar oven demonstrations will be offered from 5 to 7 p.m.

The featured guests at the Cool Davis booth in Central Park, Fourth and C streets, will bring their solar ovens and visitors can ask them how to use and make your own solar oven.

Visitors who are interested in other solar or home energy-efficiency solutions can talk with a representative of Energy Benefits Yolo, a local group buy program that provides reduced rates on home improvements to Yolo County residents.
