By From page A7 | September 13, 2013

Animal lovers are invited to help raise money for injured and orphaned animals in Yolo County at the fifth annual Yolo County SPCA Festival, which runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at 920 Third St., Suites A and F.

Admission is free, but donations will be accepted with gratitude.

The festival will feature fun activities for all ages, with children’s games, face painting, a dunk tank and a beer garden for those 21 and over. Live music will be featured all day.

Dogs and cats will be available for adoption in Suite A and a dog wash will be ongoing in the back of Suite F. A silent auction for items donated by the Davis community and downtown businesses will continue all day. As usual, the thrift store will be open for business.
