Speaker discusses Christian support for Israel

By From page A10 | February 15, 2012

Christian support for Israel as the Jewish homeland is the topic of a program at 3 p.m. Sunday at Congregation Bet Haverim, 1715 Anderson Road in Davis. The discussion will be led by Randy Neal, the western regional coordinator for Christians United For Israel, a national organization.

The program, sponsored by the CBH Israel Matters Committee, will take place in the CBH Social Hall. It is free and open to the public.

Christians United For Israel seeks to “educate Christians about the biblical and moral imperatives about supporting Israel.” With a presence in all 50 states, it maintains a program of education, outreach and events, involving hundreds of pro-Israel events each year, including a summit in Washington, D.C.

Neal works with Christian leaders in 13 Western states. He has extensive experience in developing educational workshops that address the biblical mandate to support Israel. He has spoken to many churches and synagogues and at pro-Israel events.
