The Friends of the Davis Public Library will have its next bi-monthly book sale starting Friday, with a members-only sale from noon to 2 p.m. As always, shoppers may join the Friends group at the door.
The sale will be open to all from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 15, at the Stephens Branch Library, 315 E. 14th St. in Davis.
All hardback books and trade paperbacks will be $2; pocket paperbacks will be $1; children’s books will range from 25 cents to $2; and CDs, DVDs and tapes will be $1. On Sunday, full bags of books will be $5 and “better books” are half-price.
All sales provide funds for new books and services at the library.
For a Friends membership application, visit davislibraryfriends.org or pick one up at the door. Membership includes bi-monthly postcards reminders of the book sales. These cards may be turned in at each book sale for $4 off your book purchases.
