Spring into volunteerism with Sutter Davis Auxiliary
Sutter Davis Hospital Auxiliary is looking for volunteers to join its diverse team.
Prospective volunteers will have the opportunity to help others in several areas of the hospital, including the information desk, patient services, Emergency Department, surgery center, gift shop and blood pressure clinic.
Volunteers are asked to staff two four-hour shifts per month, for a minimum one-year commitment. Prospective volunteers, in good health, receive a background check, two tuberculosis tests and three months of on-the-job training in their preferred area of service.
Joining the auxiliary is a great way to meet people while giving back to the community. UC Davis student volunteers are eligible for the program and can apply through the UCD Internship and Career Center.
