Stories come alive for babies and tots

The Stephens Branch library, 315 E. 14th St. in Davis, offers multiple opportunities each week for moms and dads to introduce their young children to books and stories. All of the sessions are free.

Hug-A-Bye Baby storytime meets at 10:15 a.m. Tuesdays for families with babies from birth through age 1. Mother Goose on the Loose is for toddlers ages 1-3 and meets at 11 a.m. Tuesdays, and Preschool Stories are offered at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays for 3- to 5-year-olds.

In addition, Preschool Stories are told at 10:15 a.m. Thursdays and Mother Goose on the Loose follows at 11 a.m. on Thursdays.

Chinese/English storytime takes place at 1 p.m. Sundays for children from birth through age 5, and Spanish/English stories for the same ages are at 10:30 a.m. Fridays.

Every Saturday, a family storytime for all ages begins at 11:15 a.m.
