Students share their research about water

Da Vinci High School environmental science students invite community members to hear their presentations about water from 7 to 8 Tuesday through Thursday, Feb. 19-21. Tuesday’s and Thursday’s presentations are at International House, 10 College Park in Davis; Wednesday’s presentations are at the Stephens Branch Library, 315 E. 14th St.

Questions from the public will be welcome following the students’ presentations. Admission is free.

Among the topics to be presented are watersheds, hydraulic cycle, sources of fresh water, Davis’ water infrastructure, pollutants, treatment, the Woodland-Davis surface water project, Davis water rates and conservation.
