Marina Bukreyeva, 6, left, and Chloe Jaffe, 7, enjoy a ride on the pedal-powered carousel, The Flying Carousel of the Delta Breeze, during the Picnic in the Park celebration in Central Park, Fourth and C streets. The carousel is a fundraiser for Davis public school classrooms and is just one of many enticements for families at the weekly event, which takes place alongside the Davis Farmers Market from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays. Other attractions are pony rides, bounce houses, Rocknasium’s climbing wall, a food fair and live music.
